“You totally made my Bollywood birthday party! Without it  my party would have just seemed like a glorified curry night. Still so grateful for all you did”. Sarah Appleby

session to a group of primary aged children I was teaching. By demonstrating her skills and creativity she inspired young children to create beautiful designs themselves. Catharine delivers and facilitates wonderfully creative henna artwork at community and corporate events and I can not speak highly enough of her practise. Catharine is a dynamic and multi-skilled individual with a capacity to inspire”. Jenna Blair

  1. Dear Hennacat,
I realy love your products, the rajastani henna is delightfull, the oilblend is extraordinary and best of all the stringiness of the yemenite henna ….I am speechless, thanks a lot

  2. Chris, Thank you so much for your comments. I have put a lot of effort into finding fabulous henna that provides different charcteristics that meet the different tastes of different people. I’m so excited about launching the new range of essential oil blends – I have spent six months perfecting the blends not just so that they smell nice in the bottle but so that they smell great when mixed in with henna.

  3. Hi there,
I ordered from you for the first time a few weeks ago. I got Jamila Henna and indigo to colour my very long (down to my tail bone) greying hair. I’m amazed by the result. I’ve been henna-ing my hair for a while now but I had never found a powder so fine (and really fresh as well) that made a paste that applied without any hassle on the hair. And the indigo! This is the best I have ever tested. Usually it washes out completely with the first shampoo leaving me with bright orange hair from the henna, but this one stained my hair really well. I hope you never discontinue the indigo, I love it! Not only I love the colour this has given my hair, chocolatey with plum and ginger highlights, but it conditioned it really nicely and it’s glossy, soft and strong. And what’s more, my hair keeps clean for longer which is a big plus when you have as much hair as I have 😉

  4. Thank you so much for your lovely testamonial! I intend to carry on stocking this Indigo, and I am delighted to have found a supplier who has high quality standards like me! Your hair sounds lovely, and so long, it is important to do what you are doing – looking after it really well!

  5. I have ordered Rajasthnani Cream, Yemen and Organic BAQ Rajasthnani from you so far… They are all great; strong stain from all, but I particularly love using the Organic BAQ Raj on my hair… It leaves a lovely dark red, almost burgundy stain which is managing to blend my roots beautifully where I’m growing out indigo. Unless you look really closely, no one would see where I stopped adding indigo 6 months ago… Fantastic stain!
Plus, must just mention that I love receiving your packages because you always wrap them up like presents! A henna birthday pressie whenever you want from Hennacat. Love it! 🙂

  6. I just ordered henna from your site, hope it gets here soon and is fabulous!
But your site is a bit clustered and all over the place and finding and selecting stuff from it just gave me a bit of a headache. I hope you have plans to work on it.

    1. Hi Mari, Thanks for your post and your order – yes I am changing the shop system at the moment – a recent upgrade to the system I use has changed things around confusingly so I am transferring to a better system which is more sophisticated. Watch this space – should be all done in about 6 weeks. Cat x

      1. yay!
Just got my order too and seems I got an extra cone, yay! Now I’ll just wait for my hair to grow to have a real reason to test your henna because applying over a decent dye job seems just wasteful.
