Hennacat Prize Draw April – £15 Amazon Voucher!

This is a competition that anyone can enter! All you have to do to be in with a chance to win this £15.00 amazon voucher is to ask a question about henna in the comments section. You see anyone can enter!

At the end of the competition, I will attempt to answer all the questions submitted as well as drawing the winner.

What could you spend your prize on? Design source books such as the dover series of books or maybe Loretta Roome’s Mehndi book? Or perhaps there is a novel you’ve been wanting to read for a while or DVD you’d like – the choice is completely yours!

The winner will be drawn at random by a random number generator at midnight GMT London on the 30th April 2012.

  4. I’m a total novice with Henna for body art; if you make a mistake while you’re drawing it on is there anything you can use to get rid of the incorrect marks so they don’t stain the skin and ruin your overall design? Does water work? Thanks!

      I have written an article showing how to get great colour with henna for body art, this lists the ingredients in detail: https://hennacat.com/?p=1414. Essentially, the ingredients for body art are:
      – Good quality henna powder
      – Lemon juice (without bits)
      – Glucose powder (to help keep the paste slightly moist and stuck to your skin
      – Certain essentials oils, with high levels of terpenes e.g. tea tree

    As you are a Henna designer, i’m sure that you somehow know about the importance of Henna in different cultures specially Indian culture. So what is the importance of applying henna on both hands and feet besides enlighting her beauty for a bride?
