As you can see from this first photograph Charlotte had grey hair throughout her natural mid brown colour. Various attempts with chemical dyes had been unsuccessful at covering her grey naturally, and left her hair dull and flat looking.

In this second photo you can see how grey her roots were, and some of her previous colour treatments.

I applied a standard Henna and Indigo mix treatment. I sifted henna and indigo powders together, and then added cooled tea and mixed to a paste. I then applied the henna / Indigo mix with a cone, and squished the henna and indigo into the hair.  The paste was rinsed out after three hours.

This is the gorgeous looking result: healthy natural, multi-tonal hair that shines with health. Charlotte now maintains this colour with treatments every six weeks, and has increased the ratio of henna (so two thirds henna and one third indigo) because she prefers a redder colour.
