This beautiful mehndi design from professional artist, Hennacat demonstrates the famous two handed lotus Mudra (hand position) used in Buddhism, Yoga and meditation. The tips of the petals are represented by ‘dipped fingers’ (solid henna colour – the nails can be stained with henna or painted with nail varnish), and the lotus blossom itself can stand alone as a striking pattern for skin.
